I really enjoy timelapse videos. Although, the actually terraforming took me several hours...

These videos are great selling points to the game.  No other game offers this much personal creativity.

already planning on doing a timelapse of building the structures too.

 

In addition, i will incorporate it into a tutorial on building a stone house since i havent done that yet.

I feel like people should put a little timer in the corner of these videos, showing how long the video is in real time (i.e. if each photo was 0.1s and the timer was 3s, then that 4:25 video counts up to 2hrs 12mins 30s I think)

This is awesome. Such a timelapses (and you really captured our interest in the speed of it) are a good way to show how free form this sandbox game really is. I hope to see it on Youtube :)

I was trying to calculate how long it took.

Each photo was taken every 3 seconds and reduced to 0.01s each photo.

the movie is 4:25 minutes long

 

I am not too sure how long that equates to  but I know I spent more than 2 hours on the project.

 

In any case, I like the interval of 3 seconds and the frame rate of 0.01s for each photo.
