Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) Make the fletching(The feathers) bright red to aid in spotting them, making arrow recovery much easier. EDIT: I'm not talking about adding a step to crafting arrows. The arrows have feather on them already. Those feathers are a dull white and have a habit of blending in. Just want a colour change in the model, nothing else. Posted July 17, 2016 Adding feathers to arrows would also give chickens/pheasant a raison d'etre now that you mention it.

Not talking about adding extra components, they are already a pain to make and imp. Just talking about changing the colour of the feathers that come out as white by default. Posted July 17, 2016 maybe an touch of dye would color the arrows?

Posted July 18, 2016 +1 Or just give anyone with 50 archery the ability to "search for arrows" that picks up any arrows of theirs in a large tile radius (cooldown of 10 mins)
Posted July 18, 2016 Mmm adding feathers to the crafting recipe, I'd rather have that as a "fine arrow" or an enhancement to an existing arrow. The crafting recipe for arrows is fairly tedious atm already. Also on that note, chickens would need a buff to lifespan. They die off way too fast nowadays, granted that use to be a needed limit before other limits to animal populations were added.
