I believe they should not require much work, or testing, or balancing, so i decided to make a list of those simple ideas. Some have annotations, but i was struggling to not give any personal opinion here. I will try to keep the OP updated regularly, feel free to point out what would be actually difficult to implement as i am no expert in this. Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) I need to one that is my absolute pet peeve to top it all: Make carts and wagons follow terrain under them. Edit: And speaking of hauling, let us just ride up stairs with our cart and horses. Hauling has so many mouse clicks between offloading the crate, disembarking, climbing up the ladder, activating the rope, right click container below and then haul up....one container, two container, three container, four...ugh. Posted July 12, 2016 Big, big, big +1 for the cart thing... why are carts now restricted to only horizontal and not allowed to follow terrain? When youre going uphill, you can't see anything behind you. I can't remember when this started but I suspect it was the launch of bridges. That's been a while back now... BTW it seems 90% of suggestions are asking for new items/models/features - basically people want an army of devs for Wurm Upd.: and 25 more pages. Posted July 12, 2016 Ran through the first 100 pages now. Apparently we want new stuff more than some little qol things. At this point (p 100) there's almost nothing that is still relevant or not yet implemented or that you can't find in the fresher threads... Will keep my archaeology venture later. Not trying to rain on your parade, but saying small and simple and then leaving off, most notably, fixing priest nerfs makes it seem much more *your* list as opposed to a neutral list of things requested. That particular change is probably easier than anything you mention and has more support than nearly anything you mentioned. I bet a half-blind monkey could be lead through the fix for priest nerfs. You put "fix menus" and "resize in-game map" but somehow overlooked gender neutral spells. You have the "no rain in buildings" one noted, but not ceilings. Hell where is digging like mining on your list? I actually appreciate what you are trying to do, but if you *really* want it to be fair and accurate representation you have to include everything that has not been clearly shot down. This why i said in my recent post about making a catalog like this http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/143088-wiki-page-of-high-interest-suggestions/ that forum is not a good place, if someone who cares maintains it and is absolutely neutral and just the facts, then that person could hypothetically make a real and accepted long-term thread. One the other hand, if you want to be be truly and incessantly trolled, and have the complete hate of a large section of the community then all you have to do is leave suggestions off that *you* think are complex or that *you* think will never happen but that *you* claim is representative of the community. FYI, that is usually how these threads go, can find them in one form or another in most long-running games and i cannot think of a single one that was ultimately successful, but i can think of several over the years that were eventually trolled into oblivion. Nothing flawed about it, just point out what i have seen with type pf post. I would say/recommend just note it like "hey i left out things that may be balance related or controversial things, no matter how supported" or "hey trying to stick to mostly QoL or cosmetic or things that do not seem to involve balance" (and stand by your words) so if you get trolled or extreme off topics you can ask Mods to clean it up (mods on here are better than most i have seen so they will likely do it without asking). Sort of like setting a no-politics rule, it applies to you too. Also would be nice if you added some of the ones that have been asked for and in some cases supported by devs, some are still highly desired, but have yet to be seen, such as on the old wish-list on the wiki. Although I won't point them out to take credit I have to dissent with their classification as "Little Things" since some are of such grandiose proportions as to fill the imagination to bursting with their impacts upon these Wurm landscapes.
