Posted July 9, 2016 Nice video, with the alchemy changes though, you can turn that tar into dirt, and create a new tar pit later on in a more convenient spot. Posted July 12, 2016 This is what I love about this game. You build a deed and have all those great visions in your mind, but the realism of living in a world sets in right away. You may have great plans, but those need to wait as first you need to tend to your survival. You have to build some kind of shelter first, most likely temporary, then a pen for your horses, also possibly temporary. Two simple beds, an altar and some way of getting back to the road via a relatively flat surface. A shed to store your cart. Then, you need water! Thus the well. I even love it how the well has a lamp right next to it. After all, you have to think about what will happen at night when you need water! And then, you have to think of how you will defend yourself while building the deed. You have to store the food and cook it, so a temporary stove goes up. Then, you will need a lot of processed metal, so while you don't have a designated forge yet, a temporary one springs up. And you haven't even begun building your deed yet! That is the essence of Wurm. You have to scrape your existance first in your new area, set up a workshop, have some storage and some animals, before you can start the work. New deeds look like legitimate construction sites, just like in real life. I bet few other games offer that experience Good work on the video! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
