Players can not ride a tamed crocodile.

Recommended Posts

Tamed champion crocodile :

The tamer have both options ride or embark as passenger.

Permissions set  to ride and be passenger. For all or personal.

Player have the required body strength control 27 or higher.

No option to ride only embark as passenger.

It is also possible ride ( for tamer ) and embark as passenger ( for both tamer and others with permissions ) without having a rope activated to lead first.

Doesn't matter if it is branded or not.

Im relly not sure if this is bugs or not.

It's body control, not strength.

Tamed animals does not require ropes.

Even before the new permissions, you've never been able to ride a unicorn or crocodile unless you were the person who tamed it.  If you untame the croc or unicorn and have someone else tame it, you will find that only they can be the rider and everyone else a passenger only.

The same holds true for tamed horses.  Even if you give others permission to ride, they will not be able to unless they are the one who tamed it.

I don't know about champions, but you could have passengers on a regular croc, its slow as hell though, like 2k speed with 2 passengers, think we even tried 2 passengers that one night.

Yes it is ridiculous slow with 1 passenger , we moved at 0,7 km/h in water, 1 ride and 1 passenger.

By 'ride' both Moogien and I meant 'command'.  When you right click a croc you tamed, you get 'ride' as an option.  You can still have passengers on a tamed unicorn or croc, but cannot 'ride(command)' unless you are the tamer.
