Posted April 21, 2016 Has anyone actually made a hate tile on Wurm Unlimited yet? I have yet to try with thorns, the Wiki doesn't confirm thorns though?? Is it just a 'keep trying' thing? any tips or tricks would be appreciated? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted April 21, 2016 Hey there Raffeh I have made few in my day, including a couple on WU. Make a 3x3 flat near water, make the surrounding 9 tiles a thorn plant, and all ten tiles Mycellium. The center tile SHOULD be a hate tile man, its kinda wonky though and you may have to play with it a bit after, bit that is the base model for a hate tile. Hope this helps! I have a 3x3 with Mycelium. i was just picking thorn bushes today so ill get that set up. Just one question. I am WL, so im using a libila preist alt account to set up the mycelium. Its got a libila alter there but the mycelium is starting to disappear... do I need to also have a HOTS tower? to ensure the mycelium stays there? Thanks. Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) The hate tile has to be mycelium and away from water. Then the surrounding 5x5 area needs one of the following: 1) 4+ mycelium thorn bushes, or 2) one tile of marsh, tundra, clay, or tar. This is pulled directly from the code so it should be accurate. Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Also the hate tile has to be flat and ive seen times where they've occurred without any thorns, marsh, tundra, clay, or tar (examples: ebfd, brandy's stable on nappy's server) Just get a bunch of flat mycelium and meditate on every tile and you'll probably find a hate tile.
