Been forgetting for weeks to say that the road from 57x 52y now goes north to Devil's Horn mountain. There are cats eyes laid all the way up to the cave through the mountain, but there's no terminal at that end, so it's just blue ones with a red at the end.

Wrong names for the canal and Whisper Lake. The name Whisper Lake predates your conversations with the people in Kalayaan by many years. There is no Stoney Lake, And no Stoney Lake Canal, And no Stoney  Lake Highway.  It is, And has always been Whisper Lake. And West Coast Highway.  And it will remain By those names, No matter how much you try to change it.  Take my deed off of this so called map too.  Now go get a mod to remove this statement, So nobody knows that your lying.

After taking a proper amount of time to research back into the origins of the name of Stony Lake I have discovered that the request was originally made by the residents of Kalayaan to honour the owner of Stonybrook, Stoneman back on November 26,  2014.

From our archives, a composite of maps showing when we added those names is here.     http://prntscr.com/jpnst4

At that time we were knew that smaller lake to the north west of the larger body of water was called Whisper Lake and due to space constraints on the map were unable to properly label the smaller lake. This information was provided to me by the owner of Altal Coast, Alterbridge who has been there a long time.

It only made sense at that time to give the name Stony Canal to the body of water which connects the lake to the Inner Sea and again the local residents were consulted.  As for the highway naming - it is very confusing to having the West Coast Highway do a dog leg to the north where it passes south of the Kincan deed.

Its original path lead to the West Coast along the straight run form Kincan to the former deed of Tenakill on the West coast and has been known as the West Coast Highway for a very long time.

As everyone who has been using the Albia Map for the past two years already knows these places by established names, we will be reverting the map to names everyone has been used and we will be adding in the name Whisper Lake where it properly belongs.

The placing of names is always done in consultation with the local residents and at that time you had sold your old account and quit Wurm, and were not available.

@Nightbreed ,

With all due respect, how much time have you spent trying to map this game, and sharing it with the public, like @Hughmongus and @skyefox have painstakingly done?

I imagine, absolutely ZERO!

C'mon @Nightbreed, get back to reality.  You need to show some respect for these fine people spending their time to put together this map.  Otherwise, there would be no map.  This "so called map" is used by everyone in Independence that has got at least an ounce of brain in them.

Let me remind you of the Rules, that everyone uses, on editing this map:

(1)  If you want anything to be added, post your request in here, with the X-Y map coordinates, and if possible a little image to show exactly where you want it to be placed. (You can use an image host such as imgur.)

(2)  Only a Mayor can make a request to have their deed put on the map and it has to made here in this forum.

Apologies for the delay in responding but RL has kept us busy the past week with other tasks.

We will try to get a survey crew over there soonest to get it added to the Albia Map.

By the way, if you put a Waystone at the very end where the Red Cat's Eye currently is, you will activate those CE's and make the highway Green and give it proper GM protected status.  We have found a 60+ Quality waystone will usually last for awhile.

Thank you for letting us know about this new CE Highway and thank you for contributing to the Indy community with your efforts.

Warmest regards!

Please add Silvermink Ranch again(a little south of where it ended up on this). The guard tower behind me is gone.

Also, the crystal canal to silver mountain highway connection has been completed, and the road around Elysian Bay fixed. You'll probably rather do a survey than use my crude (orange) lines.

Edit: Well, seems like someone tore up the highway over elysian bay.

Edit2: The person that deconstructed my road seems to have quit and I can repair it.

Gud'evening Kelody,  Friday, June 8th at 07:01 GMT

RL has keep us really busy but we finally got over to do an update survey of roads in your area.

Per our policy of locals deciding what names get used for lakes, roads, geographic features in their area, the name you folks have chosen for the new east west highway has been applied to highway you folks have built.

You did a great job repairing it some grief-er did.  The Crystal Canal area is now link to the rest of Indy via the new Diamond Hwy, which connects to the southern end of the Silver Mtn Hwy.

We also did some local roads updating and surveyed the new Cats Eye Highway in the Crystal Canal vicinity.

Results will be published in this Sunday's updates.  Thank you again for inviting us over to survey the work of your community.

Kindest regards!

Just a short note to let you know we were able to get into your area two days ago.

We have surveyed and added the new highway south from the Devil's Horn tunnel (as well as repairing all the Guard Towers, fountains and wells we found along the way).

We also completed a local roads survey along portions of the SE coast and up the SE side of Elysian Bay, which will be published with this Sunday's map updates.

Great work you and your community have done.  Thank you for such a wonderful contribution to the Indy community as a whole.

I am just finishing up a new guard tower to replace one that seems to have disappeared. There will be another built in the next week or so between it and Nysa.  The X is where the old one was (which is gone and I believe removed in the last map update.

Gud'morning Fargon,  Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 @ 12:28 GMT

Thank you for that update.  We will try to get a survey crew up there soon to get it accurately pinned down location wise.

As for the side road along side the Bay Hill Canal, a side road is a feature of most (but not all) cave canals.

We have upgraded some Cave Canals to show they have a side road, IF there is space on the map And it will not cause confusion or clutter up the surface features.

In some cases we are leaving Cave Canals as simple orange lines for just those reasons.

Appreciate the suggestion though.

Kindest regards!
