Posted April 13, 2016 http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Animal The page linked above has a chart that lists what animals can be tamed, groomed, dominated, and can/cannot swim. Many of these are detailed in their individual wiki pages, but not reflected here. For example, the Bison (http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Bison) cannot swim and cannot be dominated. If the chart could be updated to reflect the information, it would greatly help players looking for a consolidated resource on animal behavior. Thanks! Posted April 14, 2016 Wow @Ayluin! This is definitely the first time I have had the formatting done for me it makes my job a whole lot easier. I fought an Old Huge Shark at 69.99 FS and got the following: [19:41:41] Fighting increased by 0.2947 to 70.1982 I fought a Mature Troll (60) at 69.76 FS and got the following: [20:43:14] Fighting increased by 0.1652 to 69.7690 I would suggest that Octopus's FS be listed at 10. At 70 FS with an Old Octopus, I got the following: [19:55:00] Fighting increased by 0.0103 to 70.2187 I would suggest that Dolphin's FS be listed at 10. At 70 FS with a Venerable Dolphin I got the following: [20:11:42] Fighting increased by 0.0112 to 70.2300 I fought an Old Dog(10) at 69.78 FS and got the following: [20:46:35] Fighting increased by 0.0125 to 69.7815 I fought a Mature Black Wolf(15) at 69.9 FS and got the following: [18:35:38] Fighting increased by 0.0194 to 69.9035 If we base Fight Skill gains higher if they are closer to your level, then that would seem to make sense. Posted April 17, 2016 Thanks for any and all updates to the animals page. Crabs aren't too hard to tame, and you cannot groom them. Seals aren't horribly hard to tame. I'd put tortoise fight skill at or above trolls. Recommended taming skill I'd put higher; if you're only at 15 skill, you'll be dead before it tames unless someone tanks. Also they give shells upon butchering; maybe there needs to be one more column for notes such as shells, eyes, troll clubs, etc. I think there was a forum discussion about tortoise fight skill and how their strong shells add to the trouble of fighting them. Based off of experience your Fighting Skill gains are based on the difficulty of the mob (btw how did you get a .1 gain on a mature troll at 70fs?!?! I left the crab and seal taming skill as unknown until we get a definite number (I don't want to make a guess), however, I did change the crab to none groomable. I have also added Fog Spider leaving most of the information in it's row as unknown (i.e. fight skill, recommended taming skill, and if it can even be tamed).
