Posted March 20, 2016 im sure some of this is easy, and some of it probably hard, would love for ideas and concerns, discussing limitations, any help with code or heck if your a pro and can whip it out all creatures can be tamed, charmed or dominated can tame (or summon) up to 4 pets all pets are hitch-able at all ages all pets can be saddled, shoed and barded pets skill up faster, save skills and wont die of old age pets are stronger and dont get targeted or take agro unless ordered to attack or start attacking your target increased mounted speed for all creatures, to at least that of a horse or faster all creatures can be bred into champions at 90 animal husbandry (add missing champ templates) more creatures can be mounted, ( possibly need a champion version of the smaller animals such as the wolf, mountain lion, cave bug, ect to ride it) can ride sharks, dolphins, whales, octopus and sea searpents in the water all mounted creatures can swim while mounted like the crocodile, lava and hell creatures can swim but they take a small amount of dmg fix the pet menu to include 3 more pet slots and later perhaps calling your pets (teleport them to your tile, land only creatures on land and all creatures on water) adding valrei creatures to summonable mounts and who knows.. what else did i miss? Posted March 21, 2016 A couple of these might not be too hard, but most of them I believe would require quite a bit of code changes, and hard to do as a simple override of just a couple of methods. At least one of these you can do already. If you care for an animal it wont die of old age. The number of creatures you can care for depends on your animal husbandry skill.
Posted March 30, 2016 Oh I would love a rideable wolf, bear or other creature than just bovines and horses. A rideable dragon would be totally awesome, especially if it could fly and hover while you're mounted too.
Posted March 30, 2016 Well you can ride a tamed bear already. Just has to be tamed first.
