We are a group of friends who got tired of roaming from server to server liking part of it, disliking other parts and the worse part is when an admin is caught doing things no good admin should ever do.  So, we got fed up!  We worked hard to put together a way to prevent all of the things we always found frustrating with any server we played.

 

Our Wurm Unlimited server offers both PvE and PvP with dedicated staff to administer the players needs. [7.5 x skill gain 3x action, several popular mods]

Ping/Lag/Downtime:

 

  1. All server hardware is vigorously tested to meet our zero lag policy, with infinite scalability in order to grow with our community. [Who wants to play or host from a provider who doesn't even play games themselves?]
  2. We have several disaster and redundancy plans in place in the event of a major data loss or data center crash. If need be, we have the ability to restore off-shore backups or switch to a different data center quickly and effectively with minimal data loss.
  3. Our server is hosted on a network capable of 4.5 Tbps Total Capacity with 250 Mbps bandwidth, offering low latency and unbelievable speeds. 
  4. DDOS protection taken seriously. Running reactive mitigation with the option for permanent mitigation, we have the ability to mitigate 480 Gbps 24/7. Including Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7 Mitigation. We take our server and network security very seriously, and we want to make sure you have the best playing experience possible.

 

Admin Abuse:

 

  1. We monitor all of our ATG personally hosted servers to ensure none of our admins or moderators are doing things they should not be doing. They all know without hesitation their privileges would be revoked if they ever abused.
  2. We have an absolute ZERO tolerance policy on this matter, anyone caught abusing such powers will immediately be stripped of powers and reprimanded.

 

What we can offer you:

 

  1. CHARACTER IMPORTS!!  We do not allow personal server imports, they must be from a server with decent population and where no game breaking bugs have been known to have persisted. [** $5 USD fee for character transfers, fee can be waived under certain circumstances **] ** All Body, Mind, and Soul characteristics are capped at 30 upon import to create a fair play environment. So someone doesn't import a 60+ strength character and dominate. **
  2. We have a group of dedicated staff to meet all of our player's needs.

It looks like is pay to win to me... Buy skill import=5$   buy PMK=25$   refer 2 friends that BUY skills= 5 silver...

I can understand why one can think that.

 

Initially, we did not want to allow character importing but after many debates on the matter within our group, we decided to allow it.  The final straw that pushed us in that direction was the current way PVP is on Wurm Unlimited.  

 

It's easy to find a server and find a couple people on PvP here and there some might get as high as 8-10.  It's hard to find a decent group of PVP.  We wanted to allow a way to bring all of those people to a single server.  And the only way we saw this possible was to allow people to import characters from their servers. 

 

We now have roughly 8-10 people on during peak US evening times, and this number seems to be growing every day. This number is growing because we give people incentive to bring their friends over, to help populate our server and make it grow. Look at all the larger communities, they offer the ability to buy silver which in return allows you to purchase a PMK for the set rate of silver. We are doing our best to build a populated PvP server so people can have fun and to experience PvP like it should be, fun and exciting. Not boring and dead like most servers. 

 

We have stringent rules on where we allow character imports from.  

  • It must be an active server (IE no private servers).  
  • We watch them login to the server through Team Viewer, do the skill dump ourselves and transfer the dump directly to our server where it is injected into the database. It is a completely verified process so that one cannot falsify the information.
  • We research the server for any known bugs to have existed on it and have a discussion if any were present.  If we feel the import would poorly affect the server we do not allow it.

 

On top of all this, they are not buying skills. They are paying to have the skills they worked for transferred to our server, and our stringent rule set ensures that they worked for those skills on legitimate servers. If found out the skills have been tampered with, the character is immediately banned. 

 

Our goal is to have an active PVP server with a constant population.

The login server says 0, that might deter people from playing. You should try to change it so you can log in directly through the pvp server or the player pop shows from both on the login server.

As of the newest update, they have disabled the ability for cross server talk about population. You are unable to see PvP population from the PvE login like you could before the patch, due to them changing the way STEAM authenticates users to fix a critical patch. We have shown the PvP server on the list, and mentioned to login through PvE. That is the best option available until such time as Code Club fixes the issue. If we allow people to login through PvP, it will no longer be linked to the PvE server and one could not transfer to the other without doing a character transfer which would be pointless when we can just have the server attached.

 

TLDR; We do not control the patches Code Club pushes out, they have disabled our ability to broadcast population from linked servers to the login server to fix a critical STEAM authentication exploit. Showing PVP on the list and saying to login through PVE is our best bet until they fix the problem.

Just a quick update for those looking for a solid PVP server.  We now have over 45 registered people playing.

 

We average about 14 during peak US evening times, less during European times.  And have a nice gathering for our events ran every weekend.

Hello,

 

This looks like a nice server.

Currently i am waiting for some days on pvp map for a kingdom.

I wanna try this server, but i need a kingdom. When i like this server i even consider to import my stats.

I met Rhorenn and suggest to join other kingdom , who can help me with this?

In other news, the PvP is really heating up, there was a massive fight over the previous HotA just the other day!
