Casting bonuses from Soul Depth

general idea of SD affecting casts/enchants?

Why don't we make SD useful since so many have already invested into it and in a way it does makes sense?

 

suggestion:

add bonuses to casting example 1% multiplier for every x points in SD so if i normally cast....

 

a [50] power cast

with: 50 soul depth

and we use 1% higher power for every 5 points of soul depth

it will then be multiplied by 1.1 and instead of a 50 i will have a 55 power cast.

 

with same numbers, but 30 SD that would be a 53

with same numbers, but 70 SD that would be instead a 57.

 

let the discussion begin!

So you grinded SD on behalf of rumors and now want everybody else to do the same?

It wouldnt exactly make casting harder either, tbh it would make it easier than current formula

Panloading is good money for new players and if you really hate grinding hfc why not plant forests instead?  :P

+1 if SD really does nothing currently. Giving players a characteristic that does nothing is just a derision. Or does it actually have some unknown use at 25+?

One less thing to worry about on my priest since it's been proven it's useless. It's time I can spend on channeling instead of time spent wasting vegetables.

Just grind channelling. Hfc grind is one of the most boring and meaningless things in this game, at least in my opinion seeing as mycelium substitutes food for me now, and even when I was in Jk I didn't eat, only path of love refreshed and sac refreshed.  Channeling will get you better casts, and in grinding it you will also be making useful items, as opposed to spamming out food that will be left to rot
