Deed Upkeep MOD

Recommended Posts

Replace the silver/deed cost of upkeep with Materials based on what is on the deed. e.g. 1 brick per stone wall, 1 plank per wooden wall.

Something along these lines to help create item sinks that will enable economy to be stable for bulk goods.

Some ideas/ numbers

fur per bed or cotton

Brick per forge

This would require a new item call a storage yard that all items would be placed it, Could really be tied in with the merchant buying things mod really well.

This is a fun idea, or perhaps, keep silver upkeep, but use your idea to provide additional repairs to perimeter structers/walls?

The idea is to create an ever present economy, Replacing deed up keep from silver to bricks ect does that. The money would move from player to players on bulk good rather than going round in circles from player to trader to player. It would also ensure that IF it came to the main game in the end then it would enable new player to instantly become part of the economy.

Things like hunting bears could provide even a few copper here and there plus bulk brick purchases would mean there is always a market for them.

And 1 brick(or plank ect) a month per wal (or x walls) would secure the longevity of the brick(or plank ect) market, ensuring that its not just tied into new deeds being built. As we se now in the main game as the population is dying off currently (gl, hope it turns round) this would create a buffer against that with people always needing bricks, It would also allow players to pay for there own upkeep if they had the time to do so. Then they can sell there spares to pay for new expansions or there own premium.
