Posted November 11, 2015 In my time on WO, one of my favorite things was the Christmas gifts that could be collected from a Christmas tree. Each year, there was something different. I'd like to have this on our server. How do you configure what the gift will be? Weren't there Christmas lights on buildings and such also? Are there other decorations for other events? Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Its also possible devs plan a holiday update that will make this for both WO & WO (you still have to craft a christmas tree). I dunno I am just making wild unsubstantiated guesses. Hopefully server admins can choose their own settings. The server code is able to "count down" time though I do not know if people who changed server time to fast forward through a part winter, now have their calendar on a different track somehow. Posted November 12, 2015 you can create every "gift" given that is in the server, which I believe goes all the way back to WUrm in its infancy Gold Days. I have seen the spy glass, bag of holding, and all other gifts all the way up to the last gift which was the yule tide goat. Just need to be a GM to spawn them.
