Posted November 7, 2015 Hmmmmm.. I have one settlement, and one house inside it's walls. I have planned the house and built all of the external walls no problem. When I try to plan the floor, I'm getting a message that the 'Guards kindly inform you that you are not allowed to do that here.' Also, carving knives aren't giving me the option to modify walls? Any ideas?
Posted November 7, 2015 Pliers and mallet modify walls. For the other trouble with the floor, forgive me, I think it is hilarious. I am sitting here chuckling as I write this. I have no idea what could be causing this trouble for you and wish I could help with that.
Posted November 7, 2015 Is the building within your kingdom
Posted November 7, 2015 Yep, fully inside the settlement area and within my kingdom. Guards are green to me and I seem to be able to everything else. However, I've just noticed that even though I when I click on the building and it says 'Arranyn's cottage (wooden xxx)' where xxx is door/window/etc,, the building doesn't show up in my 'manage buildings' section of my character sheet... VERY confused!
