Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) I generated a Map a couple days ago for a server I play on. Our clay that was generated by the map is lowered at a rate of 1 dirt per 8 - 12 actions. Is anybody else having this issue? How can it be fixed? Tar and Peat are fine. Edited November 4, 2015 by Rudie
Posted November 5, 2015 I've noticed the same thing on the server I play on, but figured it was a "feature" to WU and not a bug? I think ppl have been wanting to terraform clay on WO for a while. Haven't tried adding dirt to raise it back up, hope that doesn't change it to dirt as that would be a trolling danger. Will test but currently working through connection issues
Posted November 5, 2015 Can you raise it again by dropping dirt on it? If so, this isn't a bad idea. All we need now is a way to lower tar.
Posted November 5, 2015 Its definitely not a feature. I tried on the base maps that came with WU and it works as Wurm does.
Posted November 5, 2015 Rudie, have you looked at the code? Because this is the line of code that lowers clay after 10 digs: if (dealClay) { if (--clayNum == 0) { newTileHeight = (short)Math.max(newTileHeight - 1, rockHeight); } }clayNum is set to 10 if it's
Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) Where can I find that? com.wurmonline.server.behaviours.Terraforming.class If you wish to keep clay digging without removing it all together but increase the number decreased per digs Around line 1012(for me atleast) if (clayNum == 0) { clayNum = 10; } Edited November 6, 2015 by WesncIsMe
