Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) So, i suddently got some trouble using wurmpedia. I'll just add some pictures and try to describe them, since thats easier than describing it by words. But first some info:I use Chrome, with adblock installed.I've tried both with and without adblock. It's the same in inkognito mode.I've tried Firefox aswell. It worked just fine until one hour ago - and i didnt change anything or do anything different from the last time i searched wurmpedia. The ingame wurmpedia works as normal. No trouble on any other websites. When I search on stuff (searched on "dirt" in the picture below) I get some sort of error: I can however manouver from the start page, which also is different and looks like this: And when i manouver to something via urls, the articles are totally messed up aswell: Edited November 4, 2015 by Nordlys
Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) The first page you post should not have happened as the XML pages are separate to the main pages. The other two seems to be latency or browser issues where they're not loading all of the content. Have you tried again since noticing the issue? I can't replicate this. EDIT: It could also be related to the CDN you're connecting to. Try a free web proxy or Tor and see if you get the same results. Posted November 5, 2015 I've had a few people reporting this today as well. I'm thinking there's some packet loss between the Wurmpedia servers and end users. You can open up cmd.exe (Start > Run or Search> cmd.exe) and type: tracert wurmpedia.comThis should tell you if there's packet loss and where it might be at. Posted November 5, 2015 I am also having issues with the in-game wiki and wurmpedia. *Regardless of what I search for in-game, the search result is always Caves. *When I search on wurmpedia.com I either get the code for the page with this at the top "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below" or I get a Search Results page instead of the Main Page. I've tried with several different things that I know have main pages. Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) By what i am seeing, it appears that there may have been a bit of a issue with our CDN doing a update and should have cleared itself up. But to make sure I am going to run a purge and make sure that all data is up to date. This should resolve the issues at hand. --- Update ---Purge has been completed, All should be well now. IF you are still experiencing this issue please clear your cache for your browser, and try again. I am going to keep a close eye on this issue and see if I notice any other issues that may happen. --- Update 2 ---Tested wurmpedia.com search/pages with the following BrowsersMicrosoft EdgeMozilla FirefoxGoogle ChromeOperaSafariSilk Browser (Mobile)Safari (Mobile)Apple iPhone 6SApple iPhone 5SSamsung Galaxy S5Amazon Fire Phone All test came back positive, and working 100% in all aspects. Searching, Browsing, and normal navigation. Edited November 5, 2015 by DarylDarkfire
