Ingame map

How do I get the ingame map to show to the custom one I made? It just shows the Wurmonline world map.

If I launch the Creative or Adventure servers, they have their own ingame maps.

  1. Rename your map to freedom.png

Navigate to your graphics.jar (probably at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited\WurmLauncher\packs")

Using 7zip or similar, open (not extract) the jar file and navigate to gui -> testmaps

Drag your map into that folder replacing the existing freedom.png

All of your users will have to do that, it is a client-side hack.

Thanks Vardoj !

If I play on two different servers...does that mean I have to to into the jar-file every time to overwrite this file to get the correct map up?

What if there are two servers connected to eachother - do everyone have to go into jar-file and swtich out the png - everytime they use the ship to get to the other server?

Seems abit cumbersome to me

Is there a way to change the dimensions of the in-game map? I have it showing my world after following these steps, but it's squished to fit the size of the old freedom map.

I added the custom png-file to the graphics.jar (Ocrea.png from creative mode)

However, the darn random spawnpoints from creative map is still there.

All these focus-zones have been removed from the server database, and all the focus-stones have been removed. Still on the client-side these spawnponts are on the map (overlaying the custom added map).

How do you get these focus zones off the ingame map?
