Posted November 1, 2015 Currently wine barrels are very nice decorative items, the trouble is that if you keep wine in a good QL barrel it does not age well at all. A bit of a contradiction really and thus the following two changes are proposed: 1. Allow material contained in wine barrels to decay as if offdeed. 2. Accelerate this decay based on wine barrel QL (QL% increase)
Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) I currently just keep my wine in small barrels in an offdeed mine. this suggestion sounds better Edited November 1, 2015 by KyleBooze
Posted November 1, 2015 fastest way to age wine is in low ql waterskins [13:04:00] You are currently using the title [Drunkard].
Posted November 2, 2015 This makes all kinds of sense. All the ways to age wine faster are counter intuitive. Wine (IRL) takes on some flavor from the wood of the barrel it's aged in. Making high QL barrels improve the wine faster makes all kinds of sense.Based on how wine aging works (Goes up in QL every time it would take damage) I'd say make things inside wine barrels decay at a faster rate than normal containers and UP the decay rate as the QL of the barrel goes up. Posted June 10, 2016 Bumping this because wines are slow.
Posted June 10, 2016 I'm not sure how it would work code wise, but all they would need to do is invert the decay mechanics for the barrels and the wine. If anything, let the wine barrel take damage, and the wine increases.
