Here are a few images showing the progression on our server. After almost one week I want to say thank you to everyone who has joined yet, but also too all new players who will join in the next days. :) Be prepared for some more nice updates in future releases.

I'm ready to jump in and give it a try! The PayToWin mentality on some other servers that I wanted to play is a big turn off.

Upcoming Update: (NO ETA)


 


  • Field growth will get faster again
  • Dirt you receive during leveling will be dropped as pile on ground
  • Dirt you receive during flattening will be dropped as pile on the ground
  • Meats will fit into crates
  • Fish will fit into crates
  • Filets will fit into crates
  • Wagon will get a passenger seat
  • Sowing timer will be decreased
  • Drowing will be changed, maybe also completely removed
  • You will be able to carry more weight
  • You will be able to run faster with heavier weight in inventory (max speed will stay at 17kmh)

 


  • We now give out 1s per 20 tiles of highway (ask a GM to receive the money)
  • We now give out 15s per guard tower built (ask a GM to receive the money)

  • start with 20 skill for everything and 30QL Armor + 30QL LSword
  • Spawn with a pelt, pendulum, compass, sickle and 3x ropes (all 30QL)
  • NO action timer above 10 seconds
  • NO skillloss on death

  • Live Map Dump every 20 minutes
  • crops only take short time to grow and NEVER rot

  • people receive coins for highway building (1s per 20 tiles)

So when you say, NO priest penalties it means absolutely none...digging,imping,building and etc.?

Yes but that could be bugged atm. I heard some people saying that penalties are active sometimes. Will try to reproduce it.

Anyhow if you loose faith we will revert that of course.

Where can i find the map dump that you update every 20 mins. Looked on your website but it seems that map dump is blank, unless I am missing where the building is happening.

Update:


 


  • Priest penalties fix
  • You can carry more weight and move faster with more wait in inventory
  • Sowing timer has been increased
  • Cave tiles now give around 40 rockshards now instead of just 20
  • Server power has been upgraded

 


Btw. We are not sure why there are 144 players max now, we increased it to 400 but there seems to be a bug in the server. Doesn't matter atm anyways, just to let you know that this will be changed.

  • The timer for mixing was decreased
  • The timer for pushing and pulling was decreased
  • Crates and now hold a lot more items
  • Player Count was fixed and updated to the maximum
  • Tree growth was increased slightly

I think those free starter deeds (11x11= 5N/S/E/W from token) with a Spirit Templar at no maintenance cost for every player are a good idea. This way everyone who plays on the server will have a safe protected spot that they can settle on. Then the more ambitious types can earn coins by various means to expand them if they so desire. You could always have some inactivity period associated with the free deeds to remove the unused ones, as long as it is not too short. Say at least 30 days, if not longer.


 


I also like a lot of your innovative features added that WO players have mentioned within various suggestions there. Shows you are not afraid of the "easy mode" resistance movement that so dominates WO. WU is a much faster paced game and it is good to see you are embracing that concept within these updates that you have listed here. No doubt it will be an enjoyable server to play upon if you continue to develop it along these lines.
