@ago Are we able to list more than one gift on the Christmas mod, so that Santa will give players 2 or 3 things instead of just one?  If so, would we just list the numbers with a comma between them?

No. The mod just injects different item template ids for the various years but the server code will still only create one item.

@ago I'm having some issues with creatureagemod. I've installed and reinstalled the modlauncher, all the mods, repeatedly patched, changed the config files in both the mods folder and in the .jar itself, and it still doesn't work properly. Creatureagemod seems to be functioning to age things up to adolescent (Default settings) but I have it set to age to mature, and it hasn't been working. How can I go about trying to troubleshoot further? I've been working on this for the past few days and I'm at my wit's end. I'd really like to use the mod, but just can't get it to follow the config.

@ago@bdew I'm having trouble with spellmod. Faith gain happens once on a libila character, and then stops. I have #noPrayerDelay=true and #unlimitedPrayers=true.  All my other mods are working like maps and such. Am I doing something stupid?

 

I'm trying to host a fun server for a few friends with libila characters able to join white lighters and work together PvE style. With mycelium.

Nevermind, I'm stupid. I went reading back and saw someone else fixing their own problem and mine was the same. I forgot to remove the #'s in spellmod. Damn.

Remove the # characters at the start of the lines you changed, that character disables the line turning it into a comment

I have a new problem, Libila seems to have all spells, and a statuette of lib doesnt let me cast spells?

Spell list on huge bone altar lets me know I have access to the spells, but the statuette of libila doesnt work. None of the statuettes work.

On a couple of servers that I visit, Santa has arrived but isn't giving any gifts. He just says that we've already received our gift for this year, which is the same thing he says anytime out of season. Is it mandatory to have the Christmas mod, for Santa to do anything besides arrive?

Make sure you didn't make the statuette of anything except gold or silver, or it doesn't work for spells anymore.  If you GM-create one, leaving the material to "standard" gives you no mat at all.

Here's my config file, and here's my server log, which I'm assuming is the one you wanted. If you were referring to a different log, please ping me and let me know. To my knowledge, I've done everything correctly for installation and configuration, so I'm just at a loss as to what the problem could be. Thank you@bdew!

Woops, one last thing. Mycelium spawns when fungus is cast, but players can't absorb it.

The allowFreedomMyceliumAbsorb=true

and... I tried absorbing in and out of libila influence, the absorb option never shows up. I made sure to have a wound each time. Am I missing something like needing guard towers? Does the server need to be a "Home Server"? (That one checkbox.)

hotsfixes has nothing to do with freedom servers, and i'm not using servertweaks so idk what's going on with it, try asking in that thread.

Christmas mod doesn't change anything except what you get from the gift. If your santa isn't giving out gifts run the following sql command in wurmplayers.db (while server is shut down)

update players set reimbursed=0;

With ChristmasMod installed the information who has already received a gift this year is stored in the modsupport database per year. Without ChristmasMod you'll need to reset the the reimbursed flag like bdew wrote.

Unfortunately, it's other people's servers, so I can't do much.  But thanks for the info. Maybe I can catch one of the GM's attention before the season is over. On all 3 of the servers with this problem, the GMs are usually unavailable for weeks at a time.
