Posted October 23, 2015 Hello fellow WU users, LOVING this hosting my own server. I hope you are all too. I have a few questions. 1) What are the important files I should backup in case of computer poof? 2) Where are the character files stored for each member of my server? (ie. Are they stored on my computer with the server or on their computer in steam WU client file folder? ) Please add any questions or answers to this thread. Posted October 23, 2015 There is that copy thing on the server launcher i guess that is some kind of backup system but i have not used it yet. I am still getting my server map the way i like it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted October 23, 2015 Pretty much everything in the folder that has your .map files. For example, if your map folder is named "MyCustomMap", backup that folder and all sub-folders. All character data, items, animals, etc. is in the "sqlite" sub-folder. There are log files outside of that folder, but they aren't necessary for restoring your server after a disaster.
