It's called wogic and you have Rolf to blame for it not me, get used to it because the game and it's biz is full of such wogic The excuse of cheaters learning how to cheat has always been BS because cheaters are going to cheat without any help. Many other games such as ARK Survival Evolved allow unofficial servers to use their official ban list and VAC methods, but you need only look at it's early months when they had none of that to see how things will go on WU servers. Best to retreat to locked servers and play with friends rather than unknown public - even private servers can have admins abusing GM privileges although in Wurm GM actions are logged. Adventure mode is nothing but a tutorial for how to play on a simulated (including friendly and hostile NPCs) PVP server, and if people quit WU in outrage over lack of security the stated intent is indeed WU will bring people to WO (many disagree since grind and f2p restrictions exist in WO). Those who say it will be easy to mod in security are a decade behind Rolf on how cheaters cheat this game, the reason he is not releasing that is that is the value add for WO if it was so easy to write that code then it would not hurt to release it. Bottom line it is a wogic biz decision of why would he enable server admins to be able to compete with his premium server biz model?
