Diagonal Tile / Pave Corner for other tile types

So if I want to make a road that happens to be diagonal, I can only use regular cobblestone.  

 

Can we add other tile types to the 'Pave Corner' action ?  

It seems that it would just be an image change and adding an option to the current list of choices..
