Settings other than Psuedo-Medieval

Curious how much freedom is planned for wholesale change of gfx and the tech setting in particular.

For potentially creating mmos that don't have a pseudo-medieval or fantasy setting persay. Say creating a Mad Max style; though, there would need to be a lot of under-the-hood modding and coding needed for matters like vehicle combat.

EDIT: Granted something similar would be awesome in vanilla Wurm for ship-to-ship fighting. Subtle hint.

in 2025... Wurm 3.0 - The Modern Era


in 2029... Wurm 4.0 - FutureWurm ...which includes weird impossible things like 3d mines and active combat

We are adding in gunpowder to our server as well as hand cannons, crossbows, and the Arquebus. Once we get going adding in new assets, part of the look / feel will be that of the early settlers of the americas. Spanish type plate armor, era specific clothing, ect ect - 1490 to 1550 ish.
