Posted October 6, 2015 So, i recently did a factory restore on my PC and i would like to reinstall wurm. I installed Java 8, but when i download the Wurm Installer, the extension is a .jnlp.When i double click the installer in my downloads file, it says "how do you want to open this file?" And then tells me to look for an app in the Windows * store. How do i install wurm again >.> Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) You run the .jnlp file by using javaws, which should be part of your java installation. try this: start+r to open the run dialoguerun this: javaws "http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient.jnlp"If you have java installed this should work. If not, perhaps try browsing for javaws.exe when it asks you which program to use to run the .jnlp, or try reinstalling java.
