Otherwise the road southwest of the crater (the sand/rock you see) is a good way to get into the crater. Also requires horse/cart but it has resting points.

I'm unsure if the road SE of it is still intact i will check that in a moment.

Ahh a great location. I've visited Gurubear Crater but a few months ago and the east road was working, it is 40 slopes here and there so a cart or horse is really recommended - although there is also a path passable on foot I'm not sure it is still fully traversable.
