Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1037798999/eco-global-survival-game/ "Collaborate to build civilization in a simulated ecosystem, creating laws to make group decisions." "Enter the world of Eco, where you must collaborate to build civilization in a finite shared world, using resources from a fully simulated ecosystem where your every action affects the lives of countless species." One more game to my watchlist, has very interesting ideas. If they deliver, what they promise, that will be one amazing game. Let's hope they get funded. Posted August 15, 2015 Looks good sounds neat, but its kickstarter I'll keep my eye on it.
Posted August 15, 2015 Great idea...but still just that...an idea. Let's hope they can prove me wrong and change my mind about kickstarter.
Posted August 15, 2015 Looks like very good idea... We will see what will come from it. I am slightly worried with this sentence: Players can propose, discuss, and vote on laws, and passed laws will affect everyone, physically preventing them from breaking the law.Does this mean that breaking the law will be not allowed at all, so game will restrict players freedom? Or will it be allowed, but can (only can, not will) lead to negative consequences?

Posted August 16, 2015 Well I think this game has some political bias Regardless, interested so I can be the "evil" corporation who gets work done.

Posted July 26, 2016 (edited) Almost a year later, still in alpha (you have to pay $40 to access) although still looks promising... Been a long time for anyone who backed it initially, a year ago. Edited July 26, 2016 by Tinderlog
