Add a /kos function to know what deeds have you kos?

Recommended Posts

That way you dont have to "poke and hope."
At least on PvE servers.

I've known people to kos others for no reason other than it was funny or they didn't like their name. It's not really in your control.

I'd like to see a warning message when entering the perimeter of the deed, so you can turn around and leave.

There is a message, the first time you enter the perimeter of a hostile deed.

Anyway, +1

(Would be interesting to know)

It is nice to be able to check I know someone kos'd a freebie alt of mine because it was called "Thegreatone" and he claimed that he was the great one, not me. I found it pretty funny tbh but he didn't know me or even that it was an alt so I can see how people get kos'd for no reason other than the mayor felt like it.

thats why you buy a deed to keep whoever you want to out. for the record i have never kos'd anyone but would in an instant if i saw bad intentions. would you realistically know if someone had a hit out on you? probably not unless you know you got caught and in you instance of a name? are you sure you didnt do something with that alt that caused it? otherwise how does that person even know who you are?

Because trolling and griefing happens?

I've had alts that no one knows I own and who haven't left the house for years added to KOS of deeds I've never heard of.

"sorry not buying this argument. -1 if you need to know if you are kos then you deserve to not know"

Binary thinking has no place in resolution and mitigation.

Take care and Good luck!

Seems like a reasonable thing, I've sat and watched as folks have simply put all of kchat on KOS *because they could annoying*. I doubted they had any templars but still, know where I was kos'd would be nice.

And kos to grief or witch hunt is bad conduct,

People in those situations should be able to know where they are kos.

how often could that really happen? people being undeserving (key word) are put on a kos list really? id bet most times there is a good reason. i will restate i have never kos'd anyone and have never had nor do i worry about a kos being placed on me. i may be wrong but i would have to be convinced overwhelmingly that these cases are not deserved due to contact or association with a situation that was less than innocent

Can also mouse-over the guards, if they highlight red then hostile. Especially if one has been caught stealing there a few times

Still doesn't hurt to know by other means.

Well if I KOS someone I would rather them know it and stay away so:

Also there have been Asshats who KOS'd anyone in their local even CA's. GM's, and even Dev's.
