Posted July 17, 2015 (edited) I was watching one of the YouTube channels i am subscribed to today and wanted to share the channel with you guys and help him maybe get a few more subscribers. He lives a simple life and has some cool videos of him working on his place so thought some of you might like it. He also is an artist and sells some nice prints if you are interested..http://www.jcdesclosoutdoors.com/limitededitionprints.htm >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NSROuzLybs If you have any channels you like i would love to see them i am always looking for new things to watch. I myself am more into the vloggers but feel free to post channels about whatever. I thought we have a post about music so why not YouTube channels so we can share what we are watching while we grind Edited July 17, 2015 by Kegan

Posted July 17, 2015 (edited) Colinfurze is another youtuber that I enjoy watching. https://www.youtube.com/user/colinfurze +1 for Colin, been watching him for ages! Current favorite(s) are the channels Brady owns, namely Numberphile and Computerphile. They just skim the surface of various mathematical/computer topics, but it gives me some good ideas for things to delve deeper into. Plus they do some fun videos like the 'Calculator Unboxing'. Posted July 17, 2015 If you're looking to get into programming, TheNewBoston has a fun style of tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/thenewbostonIf you already have some background in programming or just want to jump into the deep end, Derek Banas has some FANTASTIC videos teaching you 'all there is to know' about a certain programming or scripting language in just 1 video: https://www.youtube.com/user/derekbanas I had some previous c++ and java experience and wanted to delve into python...I feel like Derek's video and 'cheat sheet' on his website saved me several hours compared to other, long and drawn out tutorials. He lays out the videos really well, with annotations in the descriptions so you can jump around to the parts you want and the 'cheat sheet' on his website has a single file with documented code that covers the whole video tutorial. I always keep it handy beside me when I'm learning

Posted July 18, 2015 I made a promise to myself when I left school and that was to learn something new every day. Browsing LPT and YSK on reddit and searching through random Youtube videos helps me to achieve this. I recommend this to everyone.
Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) My absolute favourite YouTuber is . He vlogs about living in Alaska (which he moved to with his then girlfriend, now wife, a bit over a year ago to from California.) He posts content pretty much every other day as "daily vlogs" where you literally just vlog everything about your day. It works extremely well as a format when you're an interesting person in an interesting place doing interesting things. He's done a lot of unique content too, like vlogging a 1000+ mile endurance sled dog race in Alaska called the Iditarod, stuff that is basically not reported on at all to "outsiders" but is amazing nevertheless. It goes to show that one person with a small, lightweight digital camera can still make content that is as good if not better than what a whole team of people with huge amounts of high-end kit can do.
