Animal Grouping...

Recommended Posts

So this is an issue I've had for a very long time now..

Been in wurm for about a year now between my Freedom and Epic time..

Animals who're not in pens but are in enclosed area's such as a Farm or a Pasture always tend to group on top of each other in the same spot..

This is an issue because if 3+ animals are on the same tile they can become ill..

My neighbor had a massive pasture (around 15x40) and 80% of the horses would always be with in a 2x2 area.

I have the same issue on my farm..

Everyday I spread out the horses, but then with-in 24 hours they group right back up again..

I've included a screenshot of just half the animals.. By the time I thought to take a SS I already moved the other half out.

They just seem to naturally do this.. No matter how far you spread em out.

This is why it happens, it was introduced to stop animal hoarding and ppl going off line for long periods. Animals get ill starve and die.

make smaller fenced areas... like 1x2 tiles for 1 or 2 animals each, like boxes...

Been and issue since disease was added to the game and I don't see it ever being resolved.

Unfortunately, animal jail is the only way to counter it.
