Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) The problem is that in Xana, the mobs are way less evenly distributed than other servers. North xana has way higher density than other servers, but south xana is barren. Edited May 12, 2015 by Liamb
Posted May 12, 2015 I see only one thing : Deli is still the best server ever! Woop woop woop! [01:27:24] Aged troll is dead. R.I.P. (if you don't mind the trolls, hell hounds and spiders that is)
Posted May 12, 2015 its both the amount and the distribution that needs some work on xan
Posted May 12, 2015 Too bad that I feel like I have 1/3 of the passive animals in my farm.
Posted May 13, 2015 its both the amount and the distribution that needs some work on xan This. The sheer amount of chickens and roosters around is staggering.
Posted May 13, 2015 The table above is also not including that on older servers, it is much more developed. That means on wild tiles, where beasts could exist, they are even more densly packed. But on Xan, it is 95% undeveloped and the beast to wild tile ratio is so much less than the table represents.

Posted May 13, 2015 Did you also consider the fact that a LOT of those xanadu-tiles are in fact water?
Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) The density of mobs on Xanadu is fine once they learn to distribute them over the whole server and not just the north coast. Everyone has their own preferences, whenever I am on a small server, I absolutely hate the high mob density, it's like hunting in a Zoo. It is great that there is difference among the servers Edited May 13, 2015 by Cista

Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) In fact, Xanadu have about 2-3 times bigger population density than other servers... But about 90% of mob population is in the north. South... I wouldn't call this mob density, you can't divine by 0. Edited May 13, 2015 by Warlander
Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) In fact, Xanadu have about 2-3 times bigger population density than other servers... But about 90% of mob population is in the north. More bad info. Even if every single mob was on the northern half of xanadu (which is not the case) we would have 117k aggro mobs over 33,554,432 tiles = 0.0034 density which would be equal to deli and just a bit above the other small servers. South... I wouldn't call this mob density, you can't divine by 0. You divide by the number of tiles. 0/x=0 Edited May 13, 2015 by bdew
