Posted April 28, 2015 Seems around 90% of the affected folk I've spoken to are from the UK. BT are having issues at the moment, could be related. https://www.bt.com/consumerFaultTracking/public/faults/tracking.do?pageId=
Posted April 28, 2015 Looks like a connection error to the game server, or at least the login server - as well as the wiki and game website, from here in the UK - either that or the server is down.
Posted April 28, 2015 Thanks bwg , everything else is connecting , had the same issue not to long ago
Posted April 28, 2015 I am from Canada and cannot connect to the game. I did get a message saying my Java client was out of date so updated, but still not connecting. I also had an issue with getting the the main website this morning but now is fine.

Posted April 28, 2015 Same for me, sometimes can't launch with the details others posted above, sometimes it launches but get the message 'can't connect to the new game server'. What new game server lol. Yes I'm on BT but all else is fine connecting, also have the latest 64bit java.
Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) When I was getting problems earlier mtr was showing 100% packet loss within the hetzner network, at a point just after getting there from init7. The link to the BT service status is a red herring - nothing there other than reports of problem at individual telephone exchanges - due to cable thief or other local issues. Posted April 28, 2015 And again can't connect , not BT everything else is working fine , seems its hitting hetzner network and then a brick wall
Posted April 29, 2015 I was on Xanadu, and had "refreshing" for 5 minutes at around the same time as people have mentioned failing to connect here. Tracing the network path to Xanadu nor Golden Valley servers revealed no harmful packet loss or delays while this was occurring. The server status page would not come up on the website, and when restarting the client the connection timed out without even bringing up the login page. So it didn't look like a network problem at all, but rather servers failing to respond. I don't know how long it persisted after that, as I moved on to other activities.
