At the outskirt of Castle Midgard, Odynn and his faithful dragon just returned from adventure. They landed in a cliff to watch the beautiful sunset.

 

 

 

Commission for Odynn. Started in 13 April 2015 and just finished in 01 June 2015 ... gah... no time to draw something big when I have work

Early coloring... I got the colors from blurring various photos I think the colors fit in then redraw em.

 

Process of dragon head. Yes the scales is drawn piece by piece. Only for head tho.

Not satisfied with that and stuck for long for the mountains color I ask a facebook group levelup for a help.. a guy edited the image to this. Damn he is great, but I forgot who

 

Which then I got the idea of playing with brushes and brush: effects and got this...

 

Further detailing.. giving lines to the trees edge

 

Going back to dragon, coloring

 

Then coloring the castle

 

Refining the dragon

 

Let me show you the magnificant perspective lines I been using... oh haaai

 

Hmm.. the observatory is covered by the dragon. Lets push the mountain then!
