Btw, You can do /stuck to fix this issue, It will re-sync your client with the proper position, for you, and everyone around you.

It seems to be tied to my rare cart. I have a plain cart also and if I mount that, go into the mine and back out it will reset me when I relog.

umm.. this is the best tip I've heard in a very long time.  Going to make a bind for this and button mash it.  So fed up with the location problems here.

 

Edit:  Must be dismounted, so it kind of ruins some of my joy.  Was so hoping I could use it in advance of a disembark, so I would stop disembarking into the wall that is 3 tiles away.
