Posted March 15, 2015 The topic asking for this has been archived so have to make a new thread. Please bring back old oleander bushes. They were pretty, pink and looked like real oleanders. Thanks. New/current oleander Old and MUCH BETTER oleander:
Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Isnt that a lavender bush in your first picture? Scratch that, I had camellia plants in my mind Agreed tho, the old one did look better. Edited March 15, 2015 by Lycanthropic
Posted March 15, 2015 I would rather they redo them with the shape of the new lavenders with the flowers and coloring of the old oleanders as in your pic, although the old do look better than the new. =Ayes=
Posted March 15, 2015 +1 Any improvement on the current bushes would be welcome

Posted March 15, 2015 I have to agree the new ones are not that attractive they use to be my favorite bush but now i just cut them down.
Posted March 15, 2015 +1 This is one art change where they did a worse job than the original. Looks much less professional.
Posted March 15, 2015 +1 Old one looked really nice.
Posted March 15, 2015 I do like the old model better, and never considered the new one an 'improvement' at all. PLUS ONE!
Posted March 15, 2015 Bring back old trees and grass while were at it.
Posted March 15, 2015 +1 It's all personal preference, yet I loved the old oleander bushes much more
Posted March 16, 2015 Aye tbh I did prefer the older ones more, aesthetically. No idea offhand what performance gain was achieved.
Posted March 16, 2015 The new oleander looks nothing like an oleander. The old one looks very much like an oleander. Why the change???? New Oleander Old Oleander Real Oleander

Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Yeah the shape is horrid. I think they already tried to fix those new ones once. Edited March 16, 2015 by Uberknot

The picture I posted is of a mature one. Your old ones just serve to point out how horrid and unnatural the new ones look compared to the real ones and the old ones. Posted March 16, 2015 Lol ok.. I like the shape and everything.. I guess im on my own hahah
Posted March 16, 2015 Old ones were too big imo. The new ones aint bad. I want to rather see new bush types, than changing old ones
Posted March 16, 2015 With the rose looking like a flunked sample of a garden rose, and the camelia also beeing just a stick, it is pretty much down to just one choice now, the lavender bush.
Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) @SweetSusie...Well if they didn't make them look like nested punch bowls it wouldn't be so bad. But you have a right to your opinion. Edited March 16, 2015 by Clatius
