Posted February 16, 2015 If I am using wooden housing, I like using low rope. With stone houses, standard iron bars is good.
Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) I dont think we have any the only one we have is the stone parapet and that is nice for the castle look but if you are going with the arched wall nothing looks good not even the parapet..imo The iron fence is to tall for the arched wall and the chain is to short nothing really goes well. edit: for stone that is on the wood i guess rope would be okay or just regular wooden fence. I am not real sure i don't build with wood anymore. Edited February 16, 2015 by Kegan
Posted February 16, 2015 For wood, I do high rope. I fall off with low rope

Posted February 16, 2015 I've started building a small stone watchtower and I'm using the new plain stone style with high rope fences. The fence endings basically disappear inside the wall and you just see the ropes across the plain stone arched walls. Appears strange at first, but in our case grew on us after awhile. Posted February 16, 2015 I prefer the look of chain on stone, but I'm dearly hoping devs roll out some new railings for decks, balconies, etc. Dropped a post in Suggestions a couple months back. (hoping after major bugs and performance fixes happen).
Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) I like having low roundpole fences inside timber framed arched walls and on balconies. I prefer to have only one type of fences on deed to keep it consistent, it's also being used for pens. Edited February 16, 2015 by Vasyla

Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) It totally depends on the general style of the deed I'm working on.I do have a weak spot both for the high rope fence and the swedish round pole fence thou Edited February 16, 2015 by Cecci

Posted February 16, 2015 Chain fence needs to be raised a bit. currently it clips into the floors. Even so, chain is my preference on stone.
Posted February 16, 2015 Wooden fences are the only ones I've tried that don't obscure the view. Well, apart from the chain fences but they look ridiculous and blocky
