Dye a New Colossus model

After jumping throught the hoops  , buy the woad, go fetch it , make the dye 1 woad at a time, I found not paint option on a Fo Colossus.

 

I tried each tile, both inside and out.

 

With the dye in my inventory ,activated.

 

Attempted the same on a Vynora Colossus with the same result.

 

Please help , i have put a decent bit of effort and silver into the project.

I have a feeling that the wiki information for regular colossus is incorrect about dye.  I'm not able to get the paint/dye option on any old or new.  Do you get the option on the old which lead you to believe you could on the new?

If this is not a bug then perhaps it should be a suggestion, I think a lot of folk would love to paint a colossus.

I was going off of wiki information and reports of other colossus being suceffully pianted in the past.

There is an older model red colossus on Exo at this time located at Shadow Keep.

There is also a green one at Olive Lake Resort.

as far as i know it was possible to paint large things like that thanks to the fountain backpacks bug which has provided bugged items in the game.

This option might have been disabled in order to enhance the graphic performances for the same purpose as when they disabled multiple wood types on FSB/BSB.

 Only a few players were able to do this anyway...
