Posted November 16, 2014 We already have the nice rugs , why not full on carpet?
Posted November 16, 2014 Because what you're talking about is something made by machines. It is mass produced with cheap materials and low production costs so that it can be purchased in excessive bulk and cut down to size. If you don't have machines and your materials are hand picked or sheared and then woven on a loom, you make smaller rugs that don't necessarily cover the floor. Posted November 16, 2014 A loom would quite easily make sections of rug which could be stitched together to form a 4x4 square of carpet. So the so 'machines' are already in game.
Posted November 16, 2014 (edited) I'm not saying it wouldn't be possible without machines, I'm saying it wouldn't have been done. It doesn't make economical or practical sense without mass production. The point is that it would be out of place in Wurm, "full on carpet" is a relatively modern thing.
