Posted November 7, 2014 Do floorboards come out looking the same no matter what wood is used? Trying to match some existing ones, but doesn't specify when examined so I'm hoping that's the case.
Posted November 7, 2014 The only difference in texture with floorboards (assuming you mean the pavement type and not the wooden floor type) is tarred and not tarred. The ones you tar are darker.
Posted November 8, 2014 Use tarred ones for permanent and non-tarred ones for ripping up after removing marsh
Posted November 8, 2014 The ones there are already tarred, so I will be doing the same. Thanks for the information and help.
Posted November 9, 2014 Reading this post brings to mind that it would be very nice if floorboards would be upgraded to show differently for the various wood types. It would then make them much more attractive to use in various settings and more worth the additional effort it takes to create them in contrast to other types of paving applications. Probably best to cut their creation materials in half even. =Ayes=
