Posted October 24, 2014 I was thinking about GM's and how neat it is to see them appear in front of you or in local during GM calls and thought these spells might be interesting in PVP. They would work in PVE as well as a fun thing to see. Deed permissions should prevent any PVE abuse. Spell - Cloak of InvisibilityEffect - Makes the player literally disappear so that only same-kingdom players can see the cloaked player. Perhaps some kind of outline glow color could indicate a kingdom player is cloaked to another kingdom player.Other effects - cloaked players can walk through opened gates, doors, mine entrances if following close to an enemy player. Tower guards and templars cannot see cloaked enemy players. No village alarm is sounded unless the player decloaks.Lockpicking, picking up items, or attacking anything immediately cancels the spell.available to all priestsCasting Time 40 secondsFaith 40Favor 40Difficulty 40No cooldownTarget self or others from same kingdom.Timed spell effect set to 1 second for every power of the cast. Spell - Reveal InvisibilityEffect - Displays the names of all persons in local that are cloaked and a general direction exactly like Reveal Creatures spellavailable to all priestsCasting time 30 secondsFaith 30Favor 30Difficulty 30No CooldownTarget tile I was thinking how interesting it would be to:1. Have a player be able to go invisible and scout around before a raid.2. Have a group of raiders be invisible and make their way into an area in prep for a surprise attack (unless a defending priest spots them with reveal invisibility).3. Slip past templars, tower guards, and enemy players undetected.4. Follow Joe Enemy right through his gates into his village. Discuss.

Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) Eyesgood what u think about like a Wool Cloak, that we can wear on the "cape" char slot thats not used for antyhing atm.And "something" can enchant this cloak to be invisibility. Cloak of invisibility.Either 100% invisibility when u wear it, or its Transperency to a certain %. But when u engage in combat, the spell break ofcourse. So everyone can see u. Reveal invi... Thats usually called Detection in other games. That spell should have very little favor cost. Like max 5 favor, since players need kinda spam it. Posted October 24, 2014 This could work if balanced properly, but I'd suggest giving the spell to Vynora, to give those priests some actual in-combat utility. And also, it would seem to fit in well with her aspects of knowledge and secrets. I'd give a somewhat weaker version for Libila so as not to imbalance the sides. Definitely do not think it should it should be given to all priest types.
Posted October 24, 2014 Tbh I'd prefer a revamp to the stealth system already in the game, since unless you want to spend several hours waiting for someone to walk into your trap, it's currently only useful for logging off in mines. There's too much emphasis on priests at the moment, and the more toys they get, the more of a requirement it is to have a ton of priests on your side. Posted October 24, 2014 Rather a more forgivable stealth system skillwise. However this might work as an artifact with some mods.
