Wurm crashes as soon as I try to log in

Could not create window with selected width and height. The error was: <Pixel format not accelerated>

 

It's possible you might figure out what's wrong from the log file below, but if you can't, post the full log on the wurm online forums, and someone else might be able to help you.

Two issues noticed in logs:


- No graphics drivers, need to install the ones for your card.


- Using 32-bit JRE instead of 64-bit.

As xzea says, the main crash is the graphics driver issue. : <Pixel format not accelerated>  is an error you can get trying to use generic windows drivers that do not support OpenGL functions. You can probably play DirectX games with default windows drivers but for openGL games like Wurm, you'd need to visit ATI/AMD, NVidia or Intel and get the correct graphics drivers from them (links included).


 


 


It sounds also like a 32-bit installation of Windows 8, so probably why it is using 32-bit java:

It looks like an older dualcore CPU so perhaps you recently changed the operating system to Windows 8?


Not a brandnew account so it sounds like it ran ok for you in the past, what exactly has changed? Start by getting the correct graphics drivers then come back if it is still giving you issues.
