We know its done cuz you guys added it to the graphic pack, did some dev forget to add it ingame or is the black light religion considered some second-grade type of thing and just put on hold for no apparent reason? It's a 5 minute copy paste job...

I'm curious, with all the new wood textures coming out, does 1)wood grain matter in construction, and 2)are older models such as the bsb or beds getting newer graphics? (Not that it really matters to me that they get new ones, they are fine as is. Just curious is all)

So I am guessing you are talking about tree textures as it is the trees that are being worked on.

They are not related to visual difference in materials on objects.

Other then that there really is not much to say at the moment.

Nice to know bridges are 'coming soon'...still...the piccies look great, even if the cynical part of me agrees with the folks who say it's just an effort to distract attention from Rolf throwing his toys (I see the forum mods have been working overtime to erase any remaining record of that).  I'm sure bridges involve all sorts of problems and necessary changes, but you folks must have some idea of when you're aiming to release them - how about giving us a better idea than 'soon' or 'sometime'?

 

The gems and bones chance on digging is a nice addition, IMHO.  Pity it got left out of levelling, since that seems to be the sort of digging that happens the most, but oh well.  It's still a nice change.

None of the new stuff matters what wood it's made from really. It's exactly the same as birch as it is as maple as it is as oak.

I love seeing these updates..like opening up presents at Christmas time!!!   for any of you that are voracious readers..you'll know the reference when is say this and chuckle... that woolen cap..um...reminds me of ignatious's green cap from book "Confederacy of Dunces"  i can only hope there will be some improvement to it..or a corresponding outfit..be..more desireable like a wool cloak or something.  very excited about the notion of bridges and ofcourse being one..black sheep

Couldn't agree more! It amazes and delights me how often these updates come in this game, it truly makes me feel like it's worth playing Wurm for the activity of the devs alone. Devs feel engaged means I feel engaged. Oh and I love the "tone" of these update posts too. Humorous, intimate and cozy. Like a friend. Like someone you'd want to go for a beer with. Not all stiff and uppity like the dev posts you'll see in some game forums.
