Wood Scrap pathways

Also, how about a wood chip path does NOT prevent trees and grass from taking seed on the other side of the path.  Currently other paving prevents a barrier to nature. Seems only "natural" that nature can find a way over a wood chip path :)


 


How about different wood types give different color paths?  Cherry = red, Maple and Apple golden brown, etc.  Just like BSBs.

I like the idea of different coloured wood paths from woodtype.

 

I disagree however on trees being able to find their way through the paths. While this makes sense for real life purposes, I can't see it working well in wurm.

How about the ability to spread this mulch on tree and plant tiles?  This would be helpful since we can't trim the grass on plant/tree tiles.

A nice idea for another more natural looking paving option. This would look great for smaller paths within and between deeds. The edges could have a feathered thinned appearance going outward, making these paths look more narrow than the standard pavements.

Ohhh this is a great use for those woodscraps... I usually just drop them on the ground and let them rot.

Woodscraps were always useful: kindlings = lye/concrete/leather working. Now they are used also for paper making.

Although I think Woodscrap Paths would be a very nice feature, seeing that this was suggested in Oct 0f 2014 I am not too hopeful of anything coming of it.

i don't think that's a gauge of probability.
many suggestions have been posted for many years, repeatedly and a few of them, have made it into the game.
the most recent of which, was lamps lit off-deed.

a resurgence of interest is always a good thing.

I agree with what Steveleeb said, cause to the devs it will show as a re-occurring theme that players would like to see in the game.

There you have it, the contrast between pessimism and optimism. Yet note that I would still like to have these woodscrap pathways in the game too. Sometimes the best approach is to state it will never happen and then the Devs will make it happen just to spite you. Shhh, our little secret though.
