Posted October 23, 2014 +1 Also, how about a wood chip path does NOT prevent trees and grass from taking seed on the other side of the path. Currently other paving prevents a barrier to nature. Seems only "natural" that nature can find a way over a wood chip path How about different wood types give different color paths? Cherry = red, Maple and Apple golden brown, etc. Just like BSBs. I like the idea of different coloured wood paths from woodtype. I disagree however on trees being able to find their way through the paths. While this makes sense for real life purposes, I can't see it working well in wurm.
Posted October 23, 2014 How about the ability to spread this mulch on tree and plant tiles? This would be helpful since we can't trim the grass on plant/tree tiles. really really like this idea
Posted October 23, 2014 +1+1 Maybe we can even be aloud to pave Clay and marshland with it =) Hurray!!!and +1 to this, I was thinking the same thing when I read this idea..............................
Posted October 23, 2014 *approves*A nice idea for another more natural looking paving option. This would look great for smaller paths within and between deeds. The edges could have a feathered thinned appearance going outward, making these paths look more narrow than the standard pavements. =Ayes=
Posted October 28, 2014 +1 a nice alternative for little paths in the wood/garden
Posted October 29, 2014 Would love to see these, +1 (and another +1 for different colours depending on woodtype)

Posted October 30, 2014 (edited) Ohhh this is a great use for those woodscraps... I usually just drop them on the ground and let them rot. +1 (and another +1 for different colours depending on woodtype) Omg yes. Edited October 30, 2014 by Addeny

Posted December 31, 2016 +1 But if you make a path out of wood chips. It could not last like gravel. Wood lying on the ground rots.
Posted December 31, 2016 Woodscraps were always useful: kindlings = lye/concrete/leather working. Now they are used also for paper making. Thus, -

Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Although I think Woodscrap Paths would be a very nice feature, seeing that this was suggested in Oct 0f 2014 I am not too hopeful of anything coming of it. =Ayes= Edited March 2, 2017 by Ayes ,
Posted March 2, 2017 i don't think that's a gauge of probability. many suggestions have been posted for many years, repeatedly and a few of them, have made it into the game. the most recent of which, was lamps lit off-deed. a resurgence of interest is always a good thing.
Posted March 5, 2017 I agree with what Steveleeb said, cause to the devs it will show as a re-occurring theme that players would like to see in the game.
Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) There you have it, the contrast between pessimism and optimism. Yet note that I would still like to have these woodscrap pathways in the game too. Sometimes the best approach is to state it will never happen and then the Devs will make it happen just to spite you. Shhh, our little secret though. =Ayes= Edited March 6, 2017 by Ayes mistooks
