It's quite a squiggly squaggly lock.

 

To be honest though, seems like it'd be impossible to picklock but easy to break off

Aye from the model displayed, it does look like there's a chance for the sections of the "key" breaking off inside. Not sure offhand how catastrophic that would actually be.

 

The usual cylinder locks have a similar issue due to metal fatigue and flaws in key blanks. If one is lucky, there can be enough sticking out for pliers. Otherwise drilling out the cylinder and then replacing.
