Can you find out whether a char ever had premium previously?

Recommended Posts

1.  If you have a char you have not played in a month and cannot remember whether it ever had premium or not, how can you find out?  I know you can just log in once a month else it will poof but how can you know for a char you created a month or two ago and cannot remember whether it ever had premium or not?  The shop says the same thing for both out of premium chars as those who never had premium, and /playtime just indicates you have no premium, not how long ago (if ever) you had premium time.

2. Does a referral count as premium if you never had premium time before?

Thanks.

Ask Rolf and whoever else has access to the financials. Not something the average GM would know; however, they would know whom to ask.

EDIT: Not sure if /playtime shows old premium.

/playtime does not show old premium.  Still wondering if a referral makes your char premium so it will never poof?  Thanks.

/playtime has several lines:

- Start date (Wurm date)

- Total time spent online

- Total Premium time before the loyalty thing

- Total premium time after the loyalty thing

- Consecutive premium time

- Premium time left over

So you can check if you ever had premium on lines 3 and 4

You can't use a referral without having been premium. You need to pay premium (silver or shop) to be allowed to use a referral.

One way to tell is to check out the skills when you first log that character in.  This assumes if you'd had premium on it before that you actively played it to get at least one skill over 20.

If any of your skills current show 20 (x3) when it's first logged in, move the cursor over that skill to check the max value the skill had (it should show a value higher than 20.00 in that circumstance).  If it shows substantially higher than 20 as its max (say, 21+),. then that character had premium once because that's how the skill had achieved a value that much higher than 20.

If it shows just a tiny fraction over 20, like 20.01 skill as the max (and currently shows as 20 (x3)), then likely it had only reached the maximum non-prem level and hadn't advanced past it before it was reset back to 20 by the game for being non-prem.

Just one possible way of checking.  If you'd bought prem for that character when it was just a starting character, and never reached 20 in any skill or stat even while premium, this method wouldn't be effective for you.

just use /refer and it will say if you have ever had premium because it will say you have used up your referral or that your charater has never been premium.

You can check with /refer and see if you have one or gave it away.  You only get a referral if you had premium before.
