Hey I, know I, hope she don't crash.

Recommended Posts

Steam should thank Wurm. I got sick of waiting for my characters to relog, so I gave in and bought Endless Legend - a game I've been on the fence on, for quite a while now.

I'm starting to explore other MMORPG's for a Wurm replacement while I entertain thoughts of quitting Wurm for good. For months I've been having far less fun in game because I've had to drastically change my playing habits to accommodate the always looming threat of crashing. Minimizing my losses due to the inevitable crashes, usually means restricting hunting, trade, exploration and visiting friends. These crashes have impacted my enjoyment of Wurm deeply.

Have to agree with you. I've been spending my money on Eve lately. I used to enjoy the odd PvP trip to Chaos, but with this going on I dare not risk it.

Welp, you can add me to that list too. Connection issues in Texas (US) too. Get a good host like nfoservers.com

Disconnects have started up again today at 1:50 PM EST. When able to play have between 5 - 10 second lag for every action.

Has there been any reply from the Host on this issue? Certainly they've looked into it by now.

Thx

Yep I am still experiencing these issues.

I am also looking for a replacement game for Wurm, not just because of the disconnects but because of the lack of support in this forum, 1/10 feedback to ALL staff members relevant to this issue.

this looks like more of connection issue than game issue so reinstalling java won't work. Either your isp not compatible with wurm or wurm server don't like your connection. As trace route says, somewhere around the line it can't connect. Maybe can try ask your isp?

Read the first post please, its a complete issue with the server host. And if you look around there server host, this issue has been here for ages, and its never going to get fixed.

I read all especially trace route results which is why I assume it is connection issue. between you toward wurm, there is something wrong. Even if it disconnect on wurm part, it could also means your isp dont like wurm's hosting or something. There is sometime ago when I can't connect to a certain minecraft server and it just me, when I call my isp they says they have broken connectivity with some countries. I don't say it will be the ISP problem, it just might be.

It's pretty obvious they ain't gonna be fixing this any time soon. We've been subjected to this Host problem for at least six *bleeping* months now!

14 bloody times today so far in maybe 4 hours of gameplay. I can't even go do anything with the fear of being disconnected and getting 86'd.

MMO's and Routing issues don't mix.

yup extremely high pings even for Australia - at least 100-200ms ping than normal  and the tracert shows the London hop being the probable culprit

Also happening to me right now as well, cannot even get back online. How the hell they can justify starting a new server up at a time when there are so many people in wurm having problems with their server provider is beyond me.
