I think naming and shaming is not allowed; best thing to do is to report any chat violation via a /support ticket and provide logs to GMs when asked to.

is all public so no problem  at all.. support also writen many times... guy get many muted times and warning in just week...  i will not speak for kos... if there are rules everyone must follow them.

I find adverts in kchat to be irritating but I don't usually go around calling those who posts adverts a troll in chat even though I personally feel that applies. I don't report them either. Everyone has different ideas of what is acceptable in chat (rules just say what is allowed, not what some of us find intolerable or irritating).

 

Rather than make a fuss I just shut off kchat for a while. Works great.

 

/ignore works too but I find some players seek to be put on ignore so they can have total freedom to say what ever they want without everyone sniping them, so I avoid using /ignore.

The thing that bothers me is, although I have ignored the player, chat is rendered totally useless by him since all the people not ignoring him talk only about him, reply to his trolling, and it is difficult to have a normal conversation. If there are rules, there should be actions taken against those breaking them - otherwise they are mere bon-ton.

Yeah something should be done about this guy... about a week or two ago he whispered an alt of mine to say that he had stolen my boat. But it was the wrong person, someone else with a name similar to mine. He's just asking for it and doing it on purpose.

Kaih, any idea how many people are needed for snipe to actually work? we tried that, no success....

 

also some sort of feedback regarding sniping in event log should be implemented, something like "you attempt to snipe x" to know if the server took our command or not

When i snipe I get a message in event log that says I did.

First off you don't know the characters name as far as I know and secondly it was a boat, I have the logs to prove it..

 

Either way.. stealing something and then whispering the owner saying you did is not cool...
