You find only your own tracks.

Recommended Posts

Tracking seems bugged; and before that it was still pretty useless.

Right now I tracked 9 tiles that 5 other people were walking and currently standing on, but only ever got [11:09:01] You find only your own tracks.

This is with 46 effective tracking skill. What's the issue? Please fix and hopefully make tracking useful someday.

Results are very odd it seems: I can track both players and animals but the tracks seem oddly 'off set'.

My initial observations: I led some horses around a 3*3 field and then Tracked the field about 40 times: no horse tracks.  I went west about five tiles from the field and immediately was able to see the horses tracks.

Same test with two alts in my house; similar result.

This isn't quite the nerf that I feel the skill needs...

So that test was done with your amazing 100 tracking skill right?

It's only a 'soft' 100 so maybe I need the 'full' 100 for it to work properly.  Or in any useful way whatsoever.

To be fair, it isn't significantly less useful than usual at the moment.

Maybe this has something to do with the positioning bugs that caused animals to go missing and have had some interesting effects on boat PvP.

This is the kind of thing that should be fixed before removing rules like enclosures...........
