Hotbars.

Hotbars would rock.


 


Drag a skill/ability to the hotbar, press the hotbar button, and voila. Yea we can bind keys, but it's not the same.


 


Hotbars are pretty standard in MMOs, and I was surprised that we didn't have them when I first started Wurming.


 


Can we get hotbars please, oh Wurmy deities?

Standard in other MMO's yes, but Wurm is not every other MMO, and I'd rather it not be. You also have keybinds already, that is pretty easy already :P

It would essentially be visible keybinding. That being said there's no icons at all for any of these actions, so it's not easy to implement without adding a bunch of artwork.

In wurm we call it a Toolbelt.

To be honest I'd avoid having anything like that typical cheap-looking brightly-colored grand piano keyroll invade Wurm's GUI. We have action keybinds that fill pretty much the same role more elegantly, what we could use however is a pop-up graphical interface for mapping those keys.

I'd say upgrade key binding and add more binds such as spells and other actions that take allot of clicks

Very much this. It's a bit subpar to bind keys in the console in a game that's out of Beta.

The early 90's called and they want their rebinding-keys-using-text-commands-in-the-console back.
